Signed photograph of Elsa Lancaster tipped-in to the fep. The dedication by the author to 'The Five' indicates that although this book is part of the publisher's Uniform Edition, this publication of Peter Pan as a play is it's first appearance in print. The play and novel were inspired by Barrie's friendship with the Llewelyn Davies family. Barrie continued to revise the play for years after its debut until publication of the play script in 1928.
