Two volumes bound as one. Woodcut title page vignette; woodcut head-and tail-pieces; woodcut initials. Date of publication precedes publisher and printer statement on title page. In two parts (Hecatostea I and Hecatostea II), each with its own half-title page, pagination and register. Title page followed by a four-page dedication to the "Societas Naturae Curiosorum in Germania" and a two-page preface. Text in Latin with Greek and Hebrew quotes.
