Early reprint. Originally published 1825-1828 in three volumes, 'Fairy Legends and Traditions of the South of Ireland' comprises one of the earliest and most influential anthologies of Irish fairy tales, helping to popularize Celtic mythology in the 19th century. Croker, an antiquarian and folklorist, gathered these stories from oral traditions in southern Ireland, preserving many supernatural tales that had been passed down for generations.
