The fold out maps comprise The World, Europe, England and Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia and Iceland, Russian Empire, Austrian Dominions, German States, Switzerland, France and Holland with descriptive chapters on each country. There is an introductory section on Astronomical Geography with two associated plates. There is much historical and statistical information on the individual countries as well a the individual counties in Britain.
