Wilars de Honecort [c1175-1240] was a French master mason. Includes descriptions and commentary on the thirteenth century architectural drawings. The drawings include sacred or emblematic figures, secular figures, animals, architecture and construction, drawings, practical geometry, masonry, carpentry machines and receipts. This volume was the only source in English of the Villard manuscript for a century.
